Watch one channel on TV while recording
another
channel
To use this connection
you must
have:

(4) coaxial cable
•
(6) audio/video
cables
•
(1) S-Video cable (optional)

USING
CONNECTION
H
To watch
TV programs:
1.
Turn VCR and DSS receiver off.
2.
Press TV and tune to a channel.
To watch
DSS programming:
1.
Press DSS•CABLE and tune to a channel.
To record
off-air
(cable
or antenna)
broadcasts
and
watch
a different
channel:

Turn DSS receiver
off.
Press VCR1 and tune to a channel.
Press RECORD to begin recording.
To watch
another
channel,
make sure the TV/VCR switch
on the VCR is set to TV; then
press TV and tune to a
channel.
